Friend Emily Woodward shares teachings and goals from a recent workshop with The Race Institute. Emily says: "Sadly, racism is alive and thriving in our current society. I will review some of the goals from this 3 day workshop, as well as additional learning recommendations"

Using the Pendle HIll Pamphlet " On Vocal Ministry" as our starting point, we will learn about and discuss Quaker vocal ministry, including: "What are spirit led messages? How do we discern when to speak?"

We will explore our Quaker spirituality with practical guides to settling into a receptive state for Silent Worship.

All are welcome for our guest speaker, Pastor Tony Tilford, who will present a Forum entitled "A look at the journey at the end of life through the eyes of a hospice chaplain"
